Forecast: Strong south swell starting later Tuesday and lasting through Friday night … The worst waves will be on Wednesday and Thursday and the period of 10-13 seconds means that strong rip currents will indeed be likely.  Wave height will vary, south-southwest facing beaches seeing 6+ footers and the wedge in OC seeing 12 feet or higher …
