Issued Zones:  Big Bear … Kern Mountains … Gorman Pass …

Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Short Term Forecast for light snowfall effective now through Tuesday morning …

Date:  11/9/15 at 9:10pm PT

Forecast: Continued showers will be likely in the Kern Mountain zones, a snow level of 4,500 feet would bring light snowfall at that level … maybe even flakes into the Tehachapi region through Tuesday morning.

The Eastern San Bernardino Mountains will have a snow level near 5,000 feet.  However, shallower moisture profiles + unfavorable flow in the region would not bring as much snowfall .. if any … will go with a dusting with a passing shower through Tuesday morning … no winter weather advisories will be needed.

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.

Forecaster: KM
