Date:  12/11/15 at 1:15am PT

Forecast: A front is moving through the area and rainfall is falling in the mountain slope regions right now.  Over the morning/day today (Friday) the snow level will drop through 4,500 feet eventually and a deeper-layer moisture column will come in.  This will bring a dusting to the Los Angeles Mountains with 1-3″ in the SBD, RIV, San Diego Mountains.  Some areas in the higher elevations of the SBD/RIV Mountains will see over 3-5″ of snowfall …
