A weak impulse is expected to move through overnight tonight and least into Sunday – Read on for details …

The impulse will reach the coast soon, starting in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County and moving eastward at a slow rate into Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, and the Inland Empire zones on Sunday.  This impulse is weak so you won’t see much from it … depending on where you are.

Key areas will be the Ventura Mountains where 0.50″ of rain is likely.  The area that will see the least amount will be the Orange and Inland Empire areas, unless you are at the bottom of the Cajon Pass then you’ll get slight upward influence to produce 0.10″ to 0.25″ of rainfall.

Now of course another impulse will hit the SLO/Vandenberg regions later on Sunday, but will not make it further east than that.

Some rain could fall as far south as San Diego … But a quick front would be what would be expected.

Windy conditions will prevail in the mountain and desert regions through Monday.  This is an extremely weak setup …
