Date:  1/4/17 at 12:40pm PT

Forecast: A weak front will bring a round of showers to these regions through this evening, overnight tonight, and through Thursday.  Showers can be heavy at times, especially near the foothills. 

The amounts will vary with the least amounts in thew Los Angeles Basin.  There are indications that the flow will favor the OC Coast around Costa Mesa for over a half inch of rainfall while San Diego gets a trace. 

The map below is a member only projection during stronger storms, showing who will see what.
