Forecast: A powerful storm system is set to hit on Friday.  This system has a strong surface low associated with it, and thus strong winds will be sucking into it out of the southeast.  Given the Northern slope of Mt. Pinos will be the driving force with mountain wave activity, Pine Mountain Club through the Gorman Pass may very well see wind speeds over 70+ mph, hurricane wind gusts.  

On top of that, Big Bear will see mountain wave activity surfacing from San Gorgonio.  

The winds will relax as the day grows older on Saturday …
