Wind Chill Warning

by
9Shares

Issued Zones:  Santa Clarita / San Fernando Valley … The Morongo Basin …

Site:  Southern California Weather Force has issued a Wind Chill Warning effective overnight tonight into early Monday morning …

Date:  2/10/19 at 4:00pm PT

Forecast: A cold front has passed the region and the upper jet profile suggests wind gusts behind it will start soon.  The wind gusts through the night will be in the I-15 corridor down into the SCV/SFV areas.  With 32 degrees showing up in the SCWF low temperature model, this will work with the winds to lower the wind chill into the 20s in both the SCV/SFV and the Morongo Basin surrounding Joshua Tree/29 Palms along HIghway 62.

Take your cold weather precautions now, including care of plants and animals.
