Forecast: A compact and somewhat potent area of low pressure will move through for a very brief period of time starting now and going until around midnight.  This area of low pressure will make it possible for showers and even the chance of thunderstorms in the Kern Valley zones during that period.  The activity will be brief and only in this very small section of the forecast area.
