Forecast: Cold air overnight on Thanksgiving and then again Friday night into Saturday morning behind a dry backdoor front will bring temperatures downwards towards frost and freeze levels in the High Desert areas.  Whatever precautions you take with your plants and animals, do so before those nights.  A freeze watch is issued when conditions in the 48 hour time-frame warrant a frost/freeze warning the afternoon of the event.
