Date:  9/2/17 at 6:40am PT

Forecast: The spiral arm of Tropical Storm Lidia will swing across the area this evening.  Storm outflow from storms in Mexico and Southwest Arizona will push into the Imperial County zones, northward to Desert Center and Blythe.  Instability present in the area will bring the risk of thunderstorms today through tonight. 

Anyone living or traveling the area should remain cautious as these could have strong winds and blowing dust …
