When: Later Today into Early night …
Forecast: I held off on any warnings because of moisture levels in the San Bernardino Mountains being too low. So far this was a good idea because your ‘big storm’ other outlets had was not big on my models, thus correct so far.
However, my model still projected some snow to at least fall through today so with a slight bump in moisture levels, a brief upswing in snowfall is likely later today before sunset and a bit after it into the early night for 1-3″ of snowfall on the mountains above 5,000 FT with a dusting the further east of Big Bear Lake that you go. Not ‘big storm’ values, but enough to say, .. “Oh there’s some snow here” …
