Issued Zones:  LA/OC Valley/Basins … Long Beach … The Inland Empire … San Diego Valleys and Foothills … Aguanga … Eastern Ventura Basin … Kern and San Luis Obispo Valleys …

Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Heat Advisory effective now for Sunday and Monday …

Date:  9/17/15 at 9:45am PT

Forecast: A ridge building into the area for a couple days will bring temperatures in the basin/valley areas over advisory level, with Long Beach introduced as well.  Temperatures will range from 95F to 100F in many locations of the advisory zones, with 100-105 being possible in the Inland Basin OC/LA areas, including the Inland Empire.

The advisory is for Sunday and Monday … with precipitation activity and tropical moisture coming in for Tuesday, temperatures will fall through the middle of the week.

Humidity will be lower on Sunday … higher on Monday and this will push the Heat Index up over the temperature forecast so it will feel very uncomfortable on Monday.

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.
