Forecast: An inside slider will brush the region starting this evening.  Wind gusts will be on the increase in the advisory area through then and into tonight. 

Gusts of 30-50 mph will be possible, the strongest being along the Kern County Mountains surrounding Mojave. 

Northerly winds will also affect some areas of the Santa Clarita Valley and westward to the Santa Barbara coast.  If you are in the advisory zone.. expect 30-50 mph gusts.
