[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]092816b[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Issued Zones:  North and Eastern Inland Empire … San Bernardino Mountains … Southern end of Hesperia and Lucerne Valley … Riverside Mountains … Banning … Northern San Diego Mountains … Riverside Deserts … JTNP to Morongo Basin …

Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Weather Advisory effective today …

Date:  9/28/16 at 10:50am PT

Forecast: An upper level low that has prompted the SCWF Thunderstorm Watch over Kern County today is parked over the Inland Empire .. slowly moving northwest with time.  This upper level low has very strong upper divergence surrounding all sides … a bit rare .. but enough to uncap the atmosphere at the same time.

The activity is expected to be in the Northern SD Mountains northward to the RIV/SBD Mountains.  The movement will be northerly from Aguanga into the Eastern Inland Empire zones surrounding Hemet so you’ve been introduced into the shower OR thunderstorm risk today …

Storms forming over the San Bernardino Mountains however will move to the southwest and west … which puts areas such as Yucaipa, Redlands, and San Bernardino’s forecast zones in the path of any storms that come off the mountains.  In addition to this .. storms will form in the nominal monsoonal event locations of the Riverside Deserts from the Morongo Basin (JTNP) southeast along the mountains into Desert Center and along I-10.

Because of the storm development, have put the southern sections of Hesperia and Lucerne Valley in this since the alert give s a certain miles for error … Storms could have gusty winds, hail, and stronger downpours in the event today.

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.
