Issued Zones:  Riverside and San Diego County Mountains above 3,000 FT …

Site:  Southern California Weather Force has issued a Winter Weather Advisory effective now for New Years Eve Day

Date:  12/30/18 at 12:50pm PT

Forecast: A backdoor cold front will enter the area on New Years Eve Morning, lasting through the day.  A dusting to up to 2″ of snow in spots is likely above the 5,000 FT mark. 

Wet snow to 4,000 FT is possible along with sleet to 3,000 FT.  It will be icy in spots .. travel in this area must be met with caution. 

Gusty winds will accompany the system.. including after it through the night into New Years Day.  Wind chill factors will be in the single digits.
