Wilson and Santa Clarita …
Mid-level instability along with a vort max rotating into the area will pop off thunderstorms across the watch box between now and 3am … Thunderstorms will contain little rainfall, especially in the Mt. Wilson / SCV areas .. .this is a fire hazard due to lightning strikes …
Storms will vacate completely off the boxed area by around 3am Friday morning …
