Forecast: A very strong ridge of high pressure will form over Southern California starting Tuesday … peaking Thursday and Friday, and fading after the next weekend.  Very high temperatures well above the normal will accompany it … with 103-108 inland, 100 in the basins, 115+ for the Coachella Valley and Low Deserts … and 103-108 for the High Desert.

On Tuesday, some moisture fluxing into the area may bring an upswing in shower/thunderstorm activity … which will be handled the morning of on separate alerts if needed.
