Issued Zones:  LA/OC/IE/SD Zones … High Desert … Offshore Islands of Catalina and San Clemente

Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Weather Advisory effective now for Tuesday …

Date:  8/24/15 at 10:50pm PT

Forecast: An easterly wave will increase the shower/thunderstorm chances across the IE/OC/LA/SD/HD forecast regions through Tuesday morning … There is a chance this could be hit and miss, much like a month ago when we had ‘surprise’ lightning in the OC/IE regions.

Should it be that, some will not see anything while others do … hence the 10 mile rule remains below in verification …

At the current time, mid-level clouds are rolling through the advisory zone and these are just waiting for the lift-zone to arrive later … and they’ll start to rise more …

Catalina and San Clemente Island forecast regions should be on the watch … as lightning will be possible offshore …

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.
