Forecast: Scattered showers will be likely across the Metro Los Angeles County regions today, extending southward into all of Orange County.
Some may not see anything but the ratio of showers vs not would be about a 75% coverage of the short term forecast zones.
Instability is lacking so not thinking anything higher than a short term forecast product is needed … but I cannot rule out isolated lightning strikes if some of the cells overpower the instability and work on the very strong upper divergence we have creating these today.
