Forecast: A very cold storm system will sag down through today and tonight … The Kern Mountains will start with snow all the way on the Gorman Pass early this afternoon … with light snow off and on throughout the night.
A dusting is expected on the pass, with majority zones seeing up to an inch of snowfall … some upper elevations 1-2″.
Given this, the flow will start snowfall early this evening for the rest of the forecast area mountains … and even a dusting of snow possible down into Lucerne Valley, which this advisory is also for.
Not much is expected in all mountain areas … but a healthy 1-2″ is possible in favored locations with an average 0.5 to 1″ all over. Please use the snowfall charts below for timing/intensity/snow-level …
