Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Record Temperature Statement effective now through Tuesday evening …

Date:  2/15/16 at 2:30am PT

Forecast: Offshore flow and Santa Ana Winds in the area through today will bring more warming to the area than what was seen yesterday.  As stated in the previous article, warmer weather than the last seven days is expected over this next two-day stretch for areas below passes and canyons south and west of the mountains.

Given this, high 80s will be the average, but some areas may see temperatures trying to run toward 95F … in which will likely be a slew of records broken for 2/15 and 2/16 dating back to the 1800s.

Temperatures will decline on Wednesday to a notable change, even further by the end of the week to normal for this time of year.
