[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Issued Zones:  OC/IE/SD Metros

Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Weather Advisory effective now through Sunday …

Date:  4/9/16 at 4:50pm PT

Forecast: The bulk of the dynamics’ northern end from this cutoff low will reach the OC/IE/SD areas overnight tonight.

The dwindling instability will confine any isolated thunderstorm activity toward the coast, however the main thing with this will be locally heavy rainfall, which could lead to street flooding in spots.

One thing I’m noticing overnight into Sunday morning is the surface low within the system. Systems like this can suck in slightly drier air and areas north of it would have less precipitation than south. Namely some IE areas near Ontario west to Los Angeles would be in this path … with San Diego and Escondido square at the center of the precipitation dynamics.

Other than that, the activity will clear the coasts on Sunday morning, hanging onto the inland zones through Sunday.

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.
