Issued Zones: Western Santa Barbara County … Southwest San Luis Obispo County, including the SLO greater zones.
Site: Southern California Weather Force has issued a Weather Advisory ….
Date: 2/13/18 at 10:35am PT
When: Later today into early night …
Forecast: A storm system is backing to the southwest of the Santa Maria zones this afternoon/evening, and early night …
This will result in upper divergence across the area and with marginal instability and good deep-layer moisture … we likely will see a very small area developing around Santa Maria / Nipomo and moving west offshore from there … with pockets of heavy rain being possible along with the risk of lightning …
Deep-layer moisture is NOT available for the greater Vandenberg/Lompoc zones so even though you are in the shade, this is for the areas mentioned north of you for the best shot.
