Forecast: Based off reports from the Ventura County Mountains, the snow level went up to 7,000 FT before the front and along it … crashing through 6,000 FT with the front and end of it at 5,000 FT.
With that being said the snow level will drop in the LA/SBD/RIV Mountains through today and impact the resort city locations … with 6-9″ of snow in East Big Bear and over a foot for points west .. .and the higher elevations.
Gusty winds over 40+ will occur, making white-out conditions. Please refer to the images below for your mountain range. Note that the west to east flow will keep light snow showers most of the night in the Riverside County Mountains … dropping to Anza …
