Issued Zones:  Eastern San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino Mountains … Morongo Basin and Joshua Tree National Park …

Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Thunderstorm Watch effective now through today …

Date:  8/26/15 at 11:10am PT

Forecast: As stated in the previous article, storm activity will continue today, but be much stronger than previous day due to the clearing of the mid/upper level cloud deck.  Slow movement of the storms in the watch area will contribute to flooding potential being on the higher side … Large hail is also possible in some of the strongest storms today …

Storm activity will halt near sunset …

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.
