Issued Zones:  All Riverside County excluding the Western Inland Empire … High Desert Metro east of I-15 … Morongo Basin … San Bernardino Mountains/Deserts … Colorado River Valley … Imperial and San Diego County …

Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Flood Watch effective now for Monday and Tuesday …

Date:  9/19/15 at 10:55pm PT

Forecast: The storm system is progged to be a bit more east than originally thought, however this still will not stop the eastern half of the forecast area from seeing flooding as originally expected.  The system will enter the region on Monday morning and go through the entire day, entering out of Baja Mexico and moving northward through the flood watch area.

The storms will move move, not slow … but there will be copious amounts of low level moisture to warrant high rainfall rates in the flood watch regions.  Exact amounts are uncertain until we finalize the product, but this alert is in place to tell you Flooding is possible in your area, including flash flooding and urban stream flooding …

Tuesday we hang on to the storm system, but the flooding dynamics would be far less … still will go ahead and keep the flood watch times Monday and Tuesday, but mostly on Monday.

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.
