Issued Zones:  Metro High Desert … Coachella Valley … Banning Pass to Eastern Inland Empire areas Hemet/San Jacinto … Riverside Mountains … San Bernardino Mountains …

Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Thunderstorm Watch effective now through Friday morning …

Date:  10/15/15 at 6:30pm PT

Forecast: Ongoing thunderstorms in the Coachella Valley and San Diego/Imperial Deserts will continue pushing north-northwest through this evening, overnight , and into Friday morning.  These storms will be capable of developing more activity in the watch area … and with a North-northwest flow and not due north … some metro high desert zones will be hit again … as well as the East/Northeast Inland Empire areas.

Training storms could be possible, especially near Big Bear Lake/City and thus the potential is there for flash flooding with any storm through Friday morning.

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.

Forecaster: KM
