Forecast: A cold front moving through the region will drop the snow level through 5,000 feet through this evening … and up to 2″ of snow is possible, maybe higher in the areas above 6,500-7000 feet.  Gusty winds will accompany it … drying overnight …

Isolated thunderstorms cannot be ruled out … and if that happens that 2″+ mark will push hard to 4-6″
