Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Thunderstorm Watch effective now through tonight …

Date:  7/1/16 at 12:20pm PT

Forecast: A cap in place over the area will erode and produce thunderstorms in the SBD mountains, spreading north along the convergence zone through Lucerne Valley to Barstow.

This line is common in the Summer-time … with additional storms forming along I-10, 40, and 15 similar to yesterday.

Another round is possible overnight for the Eastern SBD Deserts and maybe to I-10 for Desert Center … and it’ll be updated on as PVA calculations become more clear …

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.

Forecaster: KM
