Date:  9/15/16 at 9:45am PT

Forecast: Brief offshore flow on Sunday will cause a spike in temperatures to between 100 and 106 degrees across the watch area.  These temperature are expected to drop on Monday with the offshore flow leaving the area.  A fire risk will be elevated on Sunday.  Temperatures will rebound to heatwave levels after the 24th-25th of this month with a very large ridge of high pressure building in. 

A HIGH HEAT WARNING will be issued on Saturday morning to replace the ‘watch’…
