Forecast: A passing dry front on Thursday will up the wind speeds across the areas listed above.  The Kern and Barstow Desert regions will all have the strongest winds … some over 50+ mph … where the High Wind Warning is.   The rest of the areas will be between 30 and 50 mph in gusts … Blowing dust is likely in the High Desert due to the lack of rainfall from the previous system …
