As previously forecast, December would have an interesting storm pattern and this is about to start around December 16th give or take one day … and some of these should pack a powerful punch so read on for details.

Our medium to long range projections do show a powerful setup that will be Pacific Storm Cruella should she form on time.  This system seems to be what I’ve been forecasting since before the beginning of the month in the Long Range Forecast Center, which will be updated for members today.  Precipitation charts for the medium/long range shows a lot of rainfall for the metro areas for Model 2C while 1E comes in a bit lighter.

While I want to said with the 2C, it’ll continue to be monitored.  2C is the most preferred with what I think the atmosphere will start to respond.  The system has the power to produce flooding, high winds, and possibly some waterspouts.
