Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Flood Advisory effective this evening through tonight/Thursday morning …

Date:  12/21/16 at 1:15pm PT

Forecast: Satellite images show an upper level low southwest of the forecast area and moving closer.  This upper level low is drawing up deep tropical moisture from the south and it’ll impact Imperial County by the evening, with deeper shots through the night in the advisory zone.

All areas in the advbisory zone may see over an inch of rain due to the tropical moisture content levels … which is rare for December.  Be advised that rain like this in a parched desert will add up fast … washes will be flooded and roads will be covered .. .Turn around … DON’T DROWN …

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.

Forecaster: KM[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
