Forecast: A backdoor cold front will develop in Kern County overnight tonight. .. moving southeastward into the Santa Clarita Valley by around 2am. 

This front will have snow levels of 3,700 FT with wet snow to 2,700 FT and a mix to 2,200 FT in the High Desert areas, starting over Acton and Lake Los Angeles and spreading eastward toward the 4am hour, holding through sunrise in the metro high desert with snow developing … sticking higher elevations … non-stick lower.

Residual snow showers could bring flakes/dusting to the Morongo Basin
