Site:  SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Short Term Forecast for showers effective overnight tonight through Monday …

Date:  1/1/17 at 5:05pm PT

Forecast: A bit of an onshore flow currently being felt with breezy conditions in the metros and gusty winds in the deserts … will bring a surge of low level moisture into the region overnight tonight along with a weak shortwave.

This will bring light showers to most of the short term forecast zone.  Really only a trace is expected in most areas, but areas near the southern and western slopes of the mountains will see over 0.1 to 0.4″ of rainfall with better lifting …

Here is my model 1E that members usually see with storms in the area … but freely available in this alert due to it just really not being anything big.

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.
