Easterly Wave To Bring Upswing In Monsoon Activity Across Southern California This Week

As projected in previous articles, end month activity into beginning August will be up and an upper level low off Baja, Mexico is ushering in monsoon moisture starting today across the Southern California area so read on for details …

An upper level low is bringing in monsoonal moisture across Southern California starting today.  This will bring in upper dynamics starting tonight for most of the region … and increasing into your Tuesday.

Given what I see today, the upper dynamic needed for convective activity without the need of the normal convergence zones will be coming in overnight tonight in the low deserts and across the metros starting Tuesday morning.  It will be met with increasing upper level divergence from that talked about upper level low …

So … in essence this is what is going to happen… Most.. if not all areas will see something from this next surge of monsoonal moisture and dynamics … all the way even to San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County.   Make sure you are on my many micro-climate FB groups in your area when alerts from me go out for the event.
