Forecast: A dry cold front for these regions in the mountain/desert areas will bring sinking air to the surface.  Stronger than normal onshore flow will promote 30-50 mph wind gusts starting today .. maximizing on your Thursday … and wanning over the day on Friday.  Areas of blowing sand and dust will also be possible.
