The numbers are in (well they’ve been in for a few days now) and the following forecast article will go into this next heatwave event.  Read on for details …

The following list of select cities are temperatures that will go from Sunday to Thursday of this week, in a row so the first number is Sunday and the last number is Thursday …  You will note that because of the offshore flow pattern in the Fall, warmer sinking air means warmer metros and ‘nicer’ High Desert temperatures.

High fire weather risks will be in the area with the strongest risk of gusty Santa Ana Winds Monday and Tuesday … Onshore flow returns after Wednesday for more seasonal temperatures … but the lingering ridge will keep low desert temperatures climbing.

As for the end month pattern.  We remain at 30% chance of a storm pattern and being this is 10 days away and controlled by a Typhoon about to hit Tokyo … a forecast this far will certainly change for either a storm or just cooler weather.
