Site:  Southern California Weather Force has issued a Short Term Forecast effective now through Halloween for light rain and/or drizzle …

Date:  10/29/17 at 8:20am PT

Forecast: An impulse moving through overnight tonight will increase the low clouds and bring areas of light rain and drizzle through then and Halloween.  Some rain accumulation will be recorded … and the fire risk will be knocked down to zero. 

Vandenberg Air Force Base is scheduled to launch on Halloween … however weather conditions for viewing will be poor … and they may even scrub the launch if the surface low causes any problems with the wind fields.
