Site:  Southern California Weather Force has issued a Winter Weather Watch effective now for Wednesday …

Date:  12/18/17 at 4:00pm PT

Forecast: A tail-end charlie system moving into California on Wednesday will bring a sweeping front through the Kern County Mountains during the evening. 

It’ll start as rain… however with cold air mixing in … the snow level would crash through 4,000 FT and thus Tehachapi, PMC, and Gorman Pass will certainly have a chance at seeing a quick hitting round of snow.  Amounts are not expected to be high by any means, a reason this is just a watch … 

The final winter weather advisory product will go out by Wednesday morning, just before it hit … but this serves as a reminder.
