Issued Zones:  Los Angeles and San Bernardino Mountains above 6,000 FT …

Site:  Southern California Weather Force has issued a Winter Weather Advisory effective now for Tuesday into Wednesday

Date:  4/30/18 at 7:55pm PT

Forecast: An inside slider is moving into the region tonight and starting tomorrow (Tuesday) the upper divergence and deeper-layer moisture will begin snow-showers with a snow-level just above 6,500 FT dropping to near 6,000 FT by the evening/night hours on Tuesday and lasting into Wednesday. 

1-3″ of snowfall is possible with this with less end of the spectrum in East Big Bear Lake areas and more in west sections through the Running Springs areas.  Snow Valley could see 3-5″ of snowfall with this event. 

Wrightwood would see a good 1-2″ from this with higher amounts along Highway 2 west of the area.
