Site:  Southern California Weather Force has issued a High Heat Warning and Heat Advisory effective Wednesday through the weekend and into this next week …

Date:  7/9/19 at 8:20am PT

Forecast: The monsoon ridge-axis will move over the region starting on Wednesday into Thursday.  This will last through the weekend and into this next week.  Temperatures as a result will skyrocket to above normal temperatures across the area.   There will be the risk of shower and thunderstorm activity in the mountain and desert areas with incoming mid-level moisture.  This was projected on the official SCWF July 2019 forecast update (click here) –
