Frost Advisory

100Shares

Issued Zones:  The Inland Empire …

Site:  Southern California Weather Force has issued a Frost Advisory effective now for tonight into Friday morning …

Date:  12/26/19 at 1:55pm PT

Forecast: Dry air behind the departing system with a weak offshore flow will bring temperatures to frost criteria early Friday morning.  SCWF Frost Forecast Model shows the regions of expectance.

There is a miss for the Norco/Mira Loma areas and this is likely due to a bit more of sinking air in the in the offshore flow.  Other areas surrounding it from Rancho, San Bernardino, and the Perris/Temecula/Hemet/Banning areas will have the frost criteria with wind sheltered zones.

Zones affected will be along I-15 as far south as Fallbrook and Escondido.  If you have plants, do what you do during a frost advisory to protect them.
