Thunderstorm Watch

Issued Zones:  Kern, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego Mountains … Antelope Valley and Metro High Desert areas … Kern Deserts EDW/Mojave …

Site:  Southern California Weather Force has issued a Thunderstorm Watch effective now through the evening …

Date:  8/17/20 at 11:00am PT

Forecast: A very healthy southeast to northwest mid-level flow with moisture in it will pop off thunderstorms in these zones this afternoon and evening.  The flow is strong so storms will move faster than normal.  At times, we will see flooding, and some may produce severe thunderstorm dynamics … but other than that, this watch is for elevated thunderstorm risks in an around the zones listed above …

NOTE: I am NOT allowing new sign-ups paying for the SCWF alert system at this time. I am redoing the system over the Summer and offering free service till October 1st. This is because this Summer is either close… or keep open come the next storm season due to a post COVID-19 economy. You can grab the account here –
