Fog Advisory

by
22Shares

Issued Zones:  Southern Los Angeles County Basin and Coast, including LAX, but not Downtown LA …

Site:  Southern California Weather Force has issued a Fog Advisory for Saturday morning …

Date:  10/16/20 at 6:10pm PT

Forecast: Tonight after midnight, the dewpoint will reach the temperature in the fog advisory area with fog developing in the Southeast LA Basin or NW OC area around Westminster and developing northwest into the Southern LA Basin where the main advisory has been placed.   Oh and you are reading this Stu from SkyFox (I know you follow these) – pan the camera towards the ocean from Downtown Los Angeles and see the fog bank from the Helicopter Saturday morning if you are flying.
Fog this dense can make travel slow at times … It will disperse after 9-10am.

NOTE:  While you may still be getting these emails now, SCWF has recently been revamped and renewed as new and all accounts except the recent 2020-2021 accounts are being removed. This DOES effect the ‘lifetime’ accounts. As per what I wrote almost 3 years ago, lifetime accounts will be affected
IF the business has a major change and COVID-19 is such the change that I have
to reset the entire system. You can see if you are expired by going to your account
profile and seeing what tier you are on. If it says expired, the account will automatically
be removed by the system on October 25th.

10 mile rule:  These alerts issued on this site means that within your zone and 10 miles from you will see the event forecast for.  You may or may not see the event but it means you are in the zone or 10 miles from where someone will.
