Date:  12/11/20 at 3:50 pm PT

Forecast: A front will come into the area on Saturday morning and last throughout the day.  Another one comes overnight on Sunday and into Monday.  Combined, these fronts with their lift due to the westerly winds will create conditions favorable for upslope shower activity in the Kern Mountain areas.  Some showers may leak into the foothill zones in the Kern Desert. 

The image in this update is the SCWF rain model for this forecast.

NOTE: Some areas will have visibility near or at zero within the thick low cloud deck.
