Long Range Advisory Issued For Moderate Inland SoCal Heatwave Week of September 26, 2022

Southern California Weather Force has issued a Long Range Advisory for an inland heatwave to move through Southern California during the week of September 26th, 2022 after having nice inland temperatures for a bit. But it is offshore flow season so expect more of this until the first major storm hits this Fall.

The way this looks, with higher temperatures across the valleys of the Inland Empire to Los Angeles, with an extension into the San Diego Eastern Valleys and Foothill Zones, this is telling me this heatwave will be caused by offshore flow.  No strong Santa Ana Winds are being detected, so this would be an easterly flow under a moderate strength ridge.  Temperatures well into the 100s will be the story within the orange and red risk zones within the image on this post.
