Site:  Southern California Weather Force has issued a Weather Advisory effective midnight tonight into Thursday morning for strong winds, heavy precipitation at times, and thunderstorm dynamics … 

Date Issued:  11/2/22 at 4:00pm local

Forecast: A strong storm system gliding by to the north will bring a due west to east flow out of the bight (island) region of the forecast area overnight tonight and through Thursday morning.  

Strong lifting with the upper divergent section of the system will bring moderate to sometimes heavy precipitation across the advisory zone, along with gusty west to east winds, 4,700 snow-levels, and even a chance of thunderstorms.  

Storms could also bring waterspout activity to the coast … This will vacate after the noon hour or so on Thursday and the advisory will then expire …
