SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WEATHER FORCE MAIN:

As per the November 2022 forecast released yesterday, (click here) the second and third week would be the most active of the month and as the first week is coming to a close after the weekend, we climb into the seat of the second week, the week of November 7th, 2022.

At the current time, this storm system is well out in the Pacific, with a scheduled timing to start affecting the forecast area by Monday the 7th, peaking the around the 8th or so.  This is an interesting Gulf of Alaska storm system as the center of the upper-level low would be just off the Seattle coast, with the jet stream dipping far south and west of us in what I would call a classic pattern for severe weather as well, including with it, thunderstorm dynamics across most of the metro areas.

We are still about 4-5 days out from the impact of this, but this could very well bring out some flood alerts as well as resort level heavy snowfall so stay tuned to Southern California Weather Force for updates …

We have a lot of storm patterns to go in the 2022-2023 storm season so if you missed that forecast, Click Here.
