Maintaining current alerts, especially the Flood Watch zones. Storms are expected in the mountain areas and their outflow could come eastward into the IE/SD Valley zones … with an outlining chance it goes into some of Orange County as well today and this evening.
Furthermore, activity out of the east (Arizona) will spark outflow and place part of the Inland Empire, SBD/RIV/SD Mountains and into the valley/coastal zones of San Diego OVERNIGHT TONIGHT. This lifting zone may be enough to re-spark a secondary round of shower/thunderstorm activity then.
As expected a couple days ago when doing the alerts, left most of LA County out and points north and west of it as well …
